  15. When Print Manager is spooling a print job, the size of the spool file
  16. is not available. When the document has been completely spooled, the
  17. display in Print Manager gets updated correctly.
  18.  
  19. Print Manager does not update the print job size while spooling
  20. because:
  21.  
  22.  - The information is not available when printing to an OS/2 or Windows
  23.    for Workgroups print server.
  24.  
  25.  - Continually updating the display would cause a serious performance
  26.    decrease. Because spooling is a performance-sensitive measure of print
  27.    speed, the print-job size is not update while the job is being
  28.    spooled.
